Did I mention that hubby once tried to persuade me to move to Canada? We even went on an LSD trip as they call it (Look See & Decide). Hubby likes Canada, particularly Vancouver. I must agree that it is a very beautiful place but the earthquake fault lines distracted me a tad from the scenery.
Anyway - the point of this post (since it is a migration diary) is to point you in the direction of a really cool blog about Canada 'Correr es mi destino'. If you are considering migrating towards Canada you might find her new series very interesting. I love blogs that offer insight into other parts of the world - there's just so much to learn.
As for me? Well, what is it they say....a picture says a thousand words.....

You look cold hehehe! I have been to Canada myself since I used to live in NY. Of course we had to cross the border now and then. I am also a fan of Correr es mi destino - we migrants have good taste.
Ah, yes, I've begin to look at those earthquakes lines even when it comes to travel... It might not put me off the idea, but it's a good thing to be aware of risks.
That is a wonderful model photo, it looks like you really are having the time of your life, sunbathing like that.... *giggles*
...and what is in those Canadian gifts bag? ?
:D Thanks for the link and for the nice words!
I can totally understand your point... my parents were quite shocked when I settled in Canada, apparently, I hated the cold when I was a kid and I would cry all the time in the winter. Or so goes the story.
I still don't like the cold... and I complain about it like 32 millions of Canadians!
To be honest, I didn't even know how cold it was going to be. But summers are really really hot (like 30C hot) so at least, I'm not living on an iceberg.
The bag is full of T-shirts and jumpers with 'CANADA' on the front (for the children). Yip, we behaved like real tourists.....
Caroline: I am so excited! Guess who was with me for lunch! Yea, his was talkative - even as talkative as I am
I think I gave him a few arguments for living in Norway :-)
Ahh, i just sent you an email with message from him - he wanted to say thank you.
I thought you two would get along lol. He is sounding a lot more inspired after meeting with you - thank you :)
I love that, an LSD trip :) And er... yeah...the picture says it all.
